Job Description

RiskCheck Inc. is an Environmental, Health, and Safety risk management company. Our client base includes property management companies, property owners, REITs, pension funds, retail owners, schools, residential landlords, financial institutions, recreational facilities, and manufacturing centres. To learn more visit us at www.riskcheckinc.com.RiskCheck is looking for a dynamic and client-centric Administrative Assistant INTERN to provide internal support and assistance to various departments such as the Sales, and Administration departments.This entry-level, full-time summer internship is perfect for an energetic, personable, and solutions-driven student currently enrolled in or working towards completing post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, or similar.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Data entry and filing as required
  • Provide internal support to other employees and departments as needed
  • Compile data and other required information as needed
  • Scan, photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing
  • General office duties as required
  • Answer phones in a professional manner, direct calls to appropriate persons, or take detailed messages
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities:
  • Fast, proficient, and accurate typist
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, other administrative programs, and current technologies
  • Outstanding communicator, both orally and written
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-starter who works well independently
  • Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Can-do attitude, self-driven and proactive, with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Positive and friendly demeanour
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Punctuality and strong work ethic
Education and Experience:
  • Currently enrolled in or working towards completing post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, or similar required
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Past work experience as an office administrator or similar role would be considered an asset but not necessary
  • Salesforce experience would be considered an asset but not necessary
