We advise across asset classes including transportation (e.g., transit, highways, airports), healthcare, environmental (e.g., waste), energy, mining, social infrastructure, schools, and municipal facilities. In Toronto you will join a team advising at the forefront of some of the largest and highest profile Canadian projects such as the Ontario Line Subway (ON), Accelerated High Speed Internet Program (ON), Capital Line Light Rail Transit (AB), VIA High Frequency Rail (ON/QC), Corner Brook Acute Care Hospital (NL), Trillium Health Partners M-Site (ON), South Niagara Hospital (ON) and Iona Wastewater Treatment Plant (BC).Our practice is trusted by public sector ministries and agencies, as well as by private sector companies, for its expertise in infrastructure strategy, financing, structuring, modeling and management of procurement and delivery processes. We are regularly named by our industry peers as Financial Advisor of the Year in Canada and the Americas.Your key responsibilitiesAs an Analyst, you have the opportunity to work within our Strategy and Transactions specialty practice Infrastructure Advisory. You will have an integral role that involves working closely with other members of the rapidly growing national Infrastructure Advisory team to execute a variety of engagements related to the planning, development, delivery and operations of major infrastructure projects.Skills and attributes for success

• Prepare drafts of reports and presentations for client meetings, and communicate complex analyses clearly
• Undertake quantitative and qualitative analysis, including the construction of highly complex financial models
• Supporting role to the team in delivering infrastructure project across various stages of the infrastructure lifecycle and work streams such as:
  • Proposal planning, researching and writing
  • Early-stage project development including development of financial models, business case, feasibility studies, affordability analysis etc.
  • Independent oversight and operational performance reviews
  • Contractual and commercial claims and disputes
  • Contract management, optimization and automation plans
  • Overall project and program management
• Research accounting, tax and financial market information to be used in financial modelling, scenario analysis and negotiation support
• Manage and execute on multiple assignments in parallel with an exceptional standard of performance
• Collaborate with other team members in identifying and exploring potential new business opportunities
• Build knowledge of the infrastructure sector through research and writing

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 2+ years of related work experience, with experience in commercial, financial and strategic analysis with strong financial modeling, analytical and report writing skills
• Undergraduate degree
• CPA, CFA or similar would be ideal, or plans to pursue
• Working knowledge of the Canadian and International Finance and Accounting concepts and principles
• Working knowledge of Canadian debt financing and capital markets; and/or global infrastructure and project financing markets
• Understanding of key business and market drivers as they relate to government and private sector industries
