Job Title: Apptad - Database Administrator - Application - Senior Job Location: Toronto (Hybrid) Job Duration: Long-Term Contract One of our Government clients is looking for a Senior Database Administrator - Application Job DescriptionThe C ram case management software (v7.0.1.2) is integral to various program areas within the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) Employmentamp; Training Division #39;s Employment Ontario Information System (EOIS) platform providing frontline caseworkers with access to a contemporary case management system. Currently, the backend database for most EOIS applications is supported by Oracle 12c.To enhance the efficiency, security, and overall maintainability of the system, ministry is initiating the C ram and Oracle upgrade projects and requires servicers of a seasoned Oracle Application DBA.This strategic endeavour must be to upgrade the existing C ram platform and Oracle Database version, which is approaching the end of its support, to the latest versions. As part of this exercise, to support the latest middleware, WebSphere will also be upgraded.The key deliverable and skillsets required.An experience Oracle Database Administrator including Oracle RDBMS, Data Guard, Golden Gate, Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Oracle Vault, Oracle Security/Encryption, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) on RedHat Linux Enterprise.Experience with installing and testing new versions i.e., upgrading from Oracle 12c version of 19c.Working knowledge of features such as Oracle Multitenant option, Oracle Active Data Guard Far Sync, in-memory database, RMAN backup/recovery, fail-over, data masking, security, and new data types.Experience with install, patch, and maintenance of all Oracle softwareExperience with performance tuning all Oracle instance components including SQL and PL/SQL for application databases.Hands-on Experience in Azure Cloud including VM, Storage, Network, Security, Key Vault, Backup/RecoveryExperience with troubleshooting, problem solving, performance tuning, infrastructure, application, and data related issues.Strong leadership and Ability to communicate regularly with project and operational teams.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsMust Haves:
