The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will assist in the Banquet operation of the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, located in the heart of Midtown Toronto’s trendy Yorkville neighborhood. Our Banquets Department is involved in the planning, set-up, execution, and breakdown of the events so they can happen again the next day – or even the next hour. Our Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will have 2-3 years of experience managing a high-volume banquet operation and have an excellent ability to handle high profile customers under pressure and with an extremely high level of professionalism. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager assists the Banquet Manager with all facets of the operation. From ensuring the proper set up of function rooms, to assisting in the hiring, training, supervising, and performance management of the staff, the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager takes a hands-on approach while ensuring the Banquet team is meeting all Four Seasons Standards.The primary focus for this position will be the Banquet Department but they may be required to assist in other Food and Beverage Outlets.Preferred Qualifications and SkillsWe are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This role has direct involvement with guests and excellent communication skills are required. By nature of this position, the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager (Banquets). requires a high level of physical mobility. A positive attitude and a can-do approach to any task are essential!
