Job TitleAssistant Project ManagerJob Description SummaryProvides daily support to designated projects through interaction with both internal project management staff and external client and consulting teams. Involved day-to-day in monitoring/tracking project progress and relevant issues and works with project management staff to manage all necessary reporting and information flow amongst project participants. Responsible for management of smaller assignments /new construction developments, refurbishments of new fit out of tenant interiors with SPM support and oversight. Provides/delivers Move Management and decommissioning services.Job DescriptionMajor ResponsibilitiesSupports senior project management staff as required.With SPM oversight and support, delivers small projects (tenant fit-outs/refurbishments/decommissioning)Responsible for Move Management ServicesUtilizing available software including Ingenious, MS Office Suite projects and CS Project Management preferred project management technology platforms,Works with senior project management staff to prepare weekly meeting agendas and minutes, status reports, track project budgets and vendor invoicing, schedules and any other project documentation as required for each project and project phase.Reviews requisitions, change orders and other invoices associated with the project for financial tracking purposes – work together with senior project management staff and client for all necessary approvals, etc.Control all project documentation flow through web-based project management technology platform – control users, permissions, postings, etc. to sure real-time access to all relevant information for project management and client users.Perform any related assignments as required in the daily operation of the project.Qualifications/CompetenciesBS Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction preferred.PMP certification ideal but not mandatory.3-5+ years directly related experience in an engineering or construction project accountability roleExceptional client relations and client management skills required.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Proven software and general technology competency: Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, MS Project and ExcelCushman & Wakefield is committed to equity in employment and our goal is to have a diverse, inclusive, and barrier-free workplace.
