Job Description

MARSAN FOODS, is a Canadian-owned food manufacturing company founded in 1970. With facilities in Scarborough, Marsan serves customers within casual dining, retail grocery, healthcare and airline sectors.Responsibilities

  • Ensures all incoming shipments of materials and products are properly
  • Unload trailers with ride on walkie and reach truck, some heavy lifting may be required
  • Inspected, labeled, and recorded into the inventory system
  • Records incoming shipments into the inventory system
  • Organize multiple incoming trucks & drivers
  • Verify deliveries and check for quality and accuracy
  • Enter receipts into computer system and generate labels to apply to the products
  • Assist to put incoming product away in appropriate storage areas as trained
  • Computer use and very thorough and detailed and able to communicate issues and discrepancies clearly via email
  • Email delivery notifications, label samples and transfer to appropriate skid spot
  • Various housekeeping duties as required, (sweeping, sorting pallets, wrapping empty milk crates, drums etc.)
  • Organizing inventory to rotate stock and maximize space.
Qualifications
  • Reading, writing and communication skills
  • Must be proficient with Raymond Reach trucks
  • Forklift experience
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Typical shift will be 11:00am-7:30pm, flexibility is required.
