Associates (Baker and Barista) – FULL TIME, HAZUKIDO YorkvilleWe are hiring multiple full-time employees for this position. The final job title will reflect your chosen role.HAZUKIDO is a world-renown bakery brand from Taiwan built on the Shokunin spirit of Japan, using only the finest ingredients to offer the highest quality croissants and other premium baked goods and drinks.What is the positionHAZUKIDO Yorkville located in the heart of downtown Toronto has recently opened and received overwhelming support from our beloved customers. Our need for talent has grown exponentially, and we are hiring multiple full-time Associates (Baker and Barista)What are the key tasks- Your role will depend on which one you’re the greatest fit for based on our conversation- Bring a smile to each customer and treat colleagues the same way- Handle food and beverage preparation, serving, selling- Operate the cash register- Create and maintain a welcoming and clean environment for customers- Contribute to the overall success of the bakery and the franchise by completing required and recommended training, coaching, etc.What do you need to succeedMust-have (in order of importance): - Full-time availability- Excellent customer service and a calm, positive, can-do attitude to solve problems, to learn, to adapt, and to treat everyone with respect, empathy, and kindness- Accountability for personal performance and growth as well as collective success- A passion for Asian food and beverages- Depending on your selected role, excellent communication skills may be requiredNice-to-have: - Experience/education in baking and pastry, confectionery decorations and/or barista- Previous customer service experience, especially in the food and beverage/retail industryWhat’s in it for you- Competitive pay and benefits package.
