Job Description

La Cecivheria is a fast paced cocktail & food bar in the heart of Kensington Market. As we are becoming the most popular spot for cocktails in town, we are growing fast and looking for a full time bartender and a cook. We are a fun team that believes in an inclusive & fun work environment. If you're someone with passion for the hospitality industry & have some cooking or bar-tending knowledge, and want to have some fun come & join the team!Bartender:

  • 5 shifts per week, mostly on the bar, but willing to jump in to other roles when needed
  • Serve cocktails quickly & efficiently while maintaining the quality standard
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness through out the restaurant and nightly cleaning processes
  • Discuss bar inventory needs with the Manager
  • Excellent customer service
Skills:
  • Bartending experience in a fast paced environment (preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge of spirits and cocktails, and a desire to expand your knowledge & explore new trends
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Ability to multi-task & work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organization & attention to detail
  • Smart Serve
Spanish Speaking is a plus but not required.Cook:
  • 5 shifts per week; minimum 6 months of restaurant experience
  • Prep/ Ensure line is stocked/ Clean during slow times
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in a hot kitchen
  • Adhere to strict health and sanitation protocols
  • Passion and experience with a desire to advance within the company
  • from 8 - 12 hour shift, availability on Holidays, and Weekends
  • Food Handler or equivalent
