Job Description

Bartender (Full Time or Part-Time, Non-tipping environment)Our Bartenders take pride in their food, wine, and spirit knowledge, but most of all building relationships with our membership and guests. We are seeking a dedicated, detailed and service-oriented professional to join our Food and Beverage team as a Bartender. This is a permanent full-time and part-time position with benefits (for full-time) in a non-tipping environment requiring shift work which includes evenings and weekends and holidaysWHAT WE OFFER:

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Bartender will perform beverage service duties including preparing and serving drinks for guest and also take on other duties for the food and beverage department. The incumbent is expected to have strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, strong knowledge of wine and spirits, and be able to work under pressure. This is a full-time position year-round with benefits in a non-tipping environment.An Overview of JOB SPECIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Post-Secondary Education in Hospitality/related field is preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of bartending experience is required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to prepare or serve alcoholic beverages
  • Wine and Cocktail knowledge is required
  • Experience taking and processing food orders
  • Knowledge of P.O.S Systems (JONAS) is considered an asset
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Professional attitude and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills is required
  • Private Club experience is an asset
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Smart Serve certificate required
  • Bartending Certification preferred
