Job Description

Our purpose is to bring enjoyment to people’s lives through great tasting food, in a way that reflects our values.As member of the Rewards team, this role assists in the administration and analysis of the Canada benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement). Open to candidates from Toronto, New Brunswick or Halifax.How You’ll Drive Value:

  • Handle day-to-day administration of the Canada health & welfare and pension programs, which includes preparation of documentation for leaves, retirements, and new enrollments
  • Regularly analyze and audit benefits data to ensure data integrity and compliance with eligibility and plan rules. Includes partnering with the appropriate internal partners to diagnose and resolve system and process issues where necessary
  • Act as Canada Benefit programs SME for internal partners and employees
  • Assist with the development and execution of all benefits programs, including serving on project team for implementations/projects, coordinating various events/activities throughout the year, and partnering with vendors/other departments within the organization as needed
  • Process and track all benefits-related invoices and ensure accurate and timely payment, which includes assisting with data collection for annual budgeting process
  • Assist with the management of 3rd party vendors, with a lens on process improvement and opportunities for efficiency and enhancement
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and distribution of all benefits-related communications, which includes partnering with the broader Benefits team to create and launch communication campaigns to effectively promote new offerings and updates
  • Remain up to date on emerging trends and changing legislative requirements that affect the Company’s benefits plans
  • Collaborate with other Rewards team members to share, leverage, and apply best practices
  • Participate in various benefits and/or rewards-related projects
About You:
  • 2+ years in Human Resources with a focus in benefits and/or working knowledge of Canada benefits practices and principles
  • Knowledge of contemporary HR practices
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of HR systems is beneficial, particularly SAP and SuccessFactors
