Job Description

Junior/Intermediate - Project Coordinator (HR Satellite)

SCOPEWe are looking for a passionate Project Coordinator to join the ERP Program where they will have an opportunity to gjob their project management skills while contributing to the major transformational projects!Reporting into ERP Satellite Lead and working closely with the HR ERP Project Manager, the HR Satellite Junior Project Manager will be responsible for co-ordinating the HR satellite application readiness for migration to the S/4 HANA solution for Canada Post.DUTIESWorking closely with multiple parties (HR team, middleware team, development team and third party vendors), coordinate all aspects of readiness of HR satellite applications (legacy and third party) for S/4HANA , including:
  • Help build an integrated schedule that includes key activities to be completed for application readiness
  • Coordinate cross stream activities with ERP HR, ERP Technical Teams, Innovapost and Third Party Vendors
  • Liaison with third party vendor Project Managers and CPC process owners in facilitating communication and co-ordination on key deliverables
  • Work with the HR test lead in co-ordinating Satellite Application testing and defect resolution
  • Work with the project team in tracking and managing open action items to successful closure
  • Schedule and facilitate key meetings and identify if any escalations are required
  • Lead stand up meeting to track detailed status
  • Provide weekly status report for HR application readiness against planned tasks
  • Identify key risks, issues and work with others to identify and implement mitigation plans
  • Support implementation of project processes, methodologies and tool set
MUST HAVE
  • Previous project management: experience in coordinating activities across multiple teams
  • Excellent coordination skills and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and has the ability to track detailed status
  • Able to work with multiple teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Experienced and knowledgeable about project management processes methodologies
  • Had coordinated different teams
  • Must be someone capable to work efficiently under little supervision
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • General understanding on Internal systems
  • Understanding of data integration across systems
NICE TO HAVE
  • HR Systems knowledge
EXPERIENCE
  • Direct experience of contributing to the success of a range of small-to-medium initiatives with escalating levels of complexity and business criticality
  • Experience working with external vendors and/or with multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledgeable about data integrations and data integration testing (asset)
  • Knowledgeable about different delivery methodologies e.g. knowledgeable about agile / scrum / iterative development and waterfall methodologies
EDUCATION
  • Academic : Post-secondary degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field (required), degree in Business Administration (MBA) (Asset)
  • Certifications : PMP, ITIL Foundation (Asset), Agile (Asset)
