This role can be done in any of our Canadian offices.Arcadis Canada Mobility #39;s Digital, Road Design and CAD discipline is searching for a BIM Coordinator to join its growing team.The coordinator will have no direct reports and will be facilitating the BIM production team liaising with various discipline groups that represent the Mobility group. In addition, the coordinator will be part of a national network of office-focused BIM leaders under a BIM Manager, governed by Canada Mobility BIM Lead. This coordinator would be part of an overall mission focusing on cross-sector synergy empowering global work-sharing, standardization and optimization, as well as shepherding cross-sector collaboration and data harnessing throughout a project’s lifecycle.Are you looking for a challenging opportunity with unlimited growth potential Are you looking for the chance to work for a firm with a strong reputation in their field and be part of a dynamic and creative teamResponsibilities:

  • Perform various Building Information Models (BIM) tasks such as producing, reviewing and managing project drawings and documentation
  • Perform and check models to ensure that they meet the Arcadis and project standards and meet the project #39;s BIM Goals
  • Ensure projects have a defined BIM Execution Plan and champion the plan #39;s fulfillment throughout the project #39;s lifecycle
  • Be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing the performance of the models
  • Act in a leadership capacity to assist the BIM Team for both Design and Production
  • Keep an eye on coordination and troubleshooting and act as a subject matter expert on BIM related issues while maintaining best practices
  • Maintain constant communication with the Canada Mobility BIM Lead to ensure bi-direction communication between staff and the region
