We are looking for highly motivated Mortgage Underwriters who can manage mortgage deals #39;, underwriting, and approval processes to develop and contribute to the growth of the business! Working alongside our Mortgage Agents to help fund deals. In this role, you are experienced with advising and structuring deals to maximize returns, deliver exceptional response times, and increase efficiency within the process while minimizing risks along with maintaining compliance standards.Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Previous mortgage agent/brokerage experience and or industry knowledge is an asset but not required
  • Proven problem solving-skills and agility to anticipate and table any task assigned
  • Proficiency with technology, including the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a Mac-based environment with CRM tools, and other relevant technologies
  • Flexibility to work outside of core business hours when needed
  • Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of the onboarding process
  • Ability to take direction and work independently to take ownership of projects, while also functioning well within a team-oriented environment
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to provide creative solutions in challenging situations
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and a passion for helping others succeed
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in finance, business, human resources or a related field is preferred
Key Accountabilities
  • Assist with daily administrative duties by completing a broad variety of administrative tasks that work to keep the Vice President of Sales, productive, and organized.
  • Drafting, proofing and sending letters, correspondence, presentations; drafting reports, creating invitations.
  • Updating information and tracking communications and updates via internal systems.
  • Provides senior-level administrative support, advice, and guidance to the executive team.
  • Maintains records and compiles reports in accordance with corporate operating procedures.
  • Within the general context of job responsibilities, make suggestions regarding improved administrative efficiency and develop and recommend various administrative procedures
  • Other ad hoc projects support
  • Onboarding Assistance: Guide new mortgage brokers through the onboarding process, including license transfer, paperwork completion, and compliance requirements.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to new mortgage brokers on company policies, procedures, products, and systems.
