We foster an environment of employee empowerment where you can make an impact by being curious and re-imagining how we do our work.The objective of our Reconciliation Process Strategy team is to reimagine and redesign the work that we do within GRS, by standardizing, simplifying and automating processes. Success is defined by delivering transformational changes that achieve measurable improvements in both process efficiency and employee satisfaction, and enhancing the capabilities and services of our team.We are looking for a results orientated Business Analyst, with a focus on documentation, to join our amazing team! You will be responsible for identifying process optimization opportunities and supporting process redesign, while improving the documentation of functions across GRS and mitigating operational risk.What will you do

  • Support the initiative focused on refreshing the standard operating procedures required for training, investigations, and audit
  • Improve reconciliation processes while ensuring work performed is verified and in conformance with Reconciliation standards, policies, procedures and in compliance with Statutory and Regulatory requirements
  • Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives forward by being involved in end-to-end process redesign, analysis, planning, documentation and implementation for assigned processes/tasks, leading the planning of assigned tasks and ensuring integration into overall initiative plan
  • Perform full analysis and execution components of process reviews (detailed data-based analysis, root cause identification, process mapping, gap analysis, recommendations, implementation, and documentation)
  • Leverage automation and/or work with our IT partners to streamline process and eliminate non-value added activities
  • Contribute to an environment of continuous improvement by identifying, recommending and assisting implementation of business solutions that support the overall strategy of Global Reconciliation Services
  • Anticipate operational and tactical risks and issues and track to resolution using the appropriate methodology
  • Build strong and meaningful relationships with team members, business partners and vendors
  • Triage, report and work to the resolution of issues/conflicts, remove barriers/resolve issues
What do you need to succeedMust have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (Business / Accounting preferred)
  • Experience with process documentation and mapping
  • Strong understanding of process improvement, working to make processes more efficient and effective
  • Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to solve problems, curious mindset, and being accountable
  • Experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, etc.)
Nice to have:
  • Good understanding of General Ledger reconciliation and attestation processes
  • Advanced experience with Excel (Macros, VBA, etc.)
  • Experience with agile tools (JIRA or Confluence)
  • Familiar with RBC applications and products
