Job Description

The branch is seeking a candidate that will assist the Management & Monitoring Tool Support with the performance measures. The role works in a complex data centre operations environment. It is a Certified Tier IV facility housing dedicated on-premises hosting services including specialized on-premise private cloud environments. Business analysis, translation of business requirements, reviewing the analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, risks and solutions. Development of collateral and documentation to articulate these items for consumption by the projects and management.The candidate will work with operational staff in one or more of the branch areas such as EPPDS and eSM assisting with the development of PPGs, acquiring business requirements, and developing presentation collaterals.The candidate must have working experience in a complex data centre operations environment. Experience with and evaluating Enterprise Tool sets to Monitor/report/Orchestrate/Automate Data Centres The data centre experience must be related in an environment that supports a dedicated 24x7x365 WINTEL/UNIX/Linux/Mainframe hosting service, on-premises private clouds, mainframe hosting and a complex physical network environment.Responsibilities:

• Modernize data centre tools and complete operational plan commitments for by operationalizing (Tools - Strategy and roadmap, Data Management) working with Project managers to determine/track/assess risk for milestones and deliverables
• Support management in identifying, developing, and building strategic plans for operational improvements in Data Centre tools and automation areas.
• Assist with completing in-year procurements and developing transformation plans as per the approved divisional plan.
• Lead the completion, review and development of roadmaps related to the DCO Tools Strategy.
• Review current tools sets, create data model to analysis Business and Technical requirements of each tool and do a comparative analysis.
• Deliver essential business support services as required.
• Translate business requirements through interviews and understanding the goals of each project.
• Development of collateral and documentation to articulate these items for consumption by the projects and management team to analyze the research completed and outline problems, opportunities, risks and solutions.
