We apply these solutions with a broad range of customers in Healthcare, Financial Services, Provincial Governments, and Manufacturing.Speridian is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead its Quality Management (QM) services’ customer acquisition strategy in Canada. As a Quality Management sales lead, you will be an integral part of the team that defines the Go-to-Market strategies, products, and services catalogue in collaboration with the management team.You will work with the Quality Management practice in defining and enhancing the vision of the products and services. You will also work closely with corporate marketing and other support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are achieved.This role values candidates with:

  • A great understanding of client acquisition strategies: good understanding of sales cycles and market landscape. A good track record of client relationships is a must.
  • Critical thinking: You analyze complex situations, think critically, and formulate solutions.
  • Excellent communication: verbal and written communication is vital for this role.
  • Negotiation: proven experience managing stakeholders and conflict resolution.
  • Business Proposals: writing proposals and presenting solutions to potential clients.
  • Team Building: mentor your team, entry-level staff, and interns into valuable salespeople.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a growth strategy focused on revenue targets and customer satisfaction for Quality Management Services.
  • Conduct focused research to identify new markets and customer needs. Work with QM practice to enhance the service offerings.
  • Promote the company’s products / services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Be relentless and persistent when locating or proposing potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering, and exploring opportunities.
  • Driven to close business deals by coordinating requirements, developing, and negotiating contracts.
  • Enhance your skills by participating in educational programs, reading professional publications, acquiring certifications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of successful sales experience selling software and services solutions to public and enterprise clients in Canada.
  • Understanding of the Government of Ontario and crown corporations contracting vehicles.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Managing P&L and sales pipeline using corporate CRM system and tools.
  • Bi-weekly review of opportunities with your direct reports and QM practice.
  • Consultative selling skills.
  • Understand, navigate, and adapt with complex political environments to close deals.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed a sales target.
  • Naturally proactive and persuasive.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
