In this role you will provide support to the Canadian Banking Marketing Team to design and build effective and efficient direct marketing campaigns and initiatives. You will be responsible for the business and technical design specification of marketing campaigns and initiatives to maximize revenue growth and provide superior customer experience through relevant and timely offers.What will you doProvide complete, accurate and timely end to end Design and Execution that meets the business objectives:

  • Interact with senior business leadership to understand, champion, challenge and specify business, design and technical requirement for marketing campaigns
  • Responsible for development of campaigns and documentation, integrating and leveraging learnings from past and post campaign results
  • Evolve and optimize campaign experimental design and build to ensure alignment to business and marketing objectives by providing target audience and pre-campaign sizing analysis
  • Act as COE on direct marketing tactics and effectively communicate recommendations and requirements to internal partners
  • Perform quality assurance audits to ensure the campaign design has been accurately interpreted in the campaign build to meet the business need
  • Ensure corporate reputation is maintained by strict adherence to privacy guidelines and ethics, data stewardship and governance policies and processes
What do you need to succeedMust-have:
  • 3+ years of related experience with relational databases and marketing, structured programming concepts, including the use of data analytic, decisioning and data mining tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, Teradata)
  • Strong written/oral communication skills to develop and convey thoughtful and insightful explanations
  • Self-motivated, strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, a high aptitude for problem solving and a natural interest in understanding customer behavior
  • Detail oriented with emphasis on quality and accuracy
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience in the financial services industry, including understanding of marketing is an asset
  • Strong desire to learn new tools and try new concepts that evolve and optimize current processes
  • Proven Growth Mindset
  • Familiar with various data housing environments (e.g. Teradata, Unix, DataLake, cloud)
  • past experience in campaign design and delivery experience (experimental design, target/control, statistical significance…etc) an asset
  • Analytical background with a quantitative focus, such as statistics, applied mathematics, economics, computer science
