We are looking for people capable of adapting relentlessly to the rapidly evolving world around us.Position Summary: Data Security, Privacy, and Risk Management are of paramount importance for Pivotree as a fast growth company delivering value to our frictionless commerce clients. As CISO, you will be responsible for security and data integrity of our organization. You will design, build , monitor, and maintain Pivotree’s Security, Privacy, and Risk programs. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with our Officers, Business Unit leaders, enterprise customers, and internal teams, to ensure Pivotree’s programs deliver against their expectations.As our CISO, you will lead the following: Cyber risk and cyber intelligence: Keep on top of developing security threats, best practices, and assist the company’s officers and leaders to understand cybersecurity risks, security problems and actionable solutions using a risk-based framework that might arise from daily operations, strategic decisions, and/or acquisitions. Security governance, architecture, and operations: Oversee the design and use of Pivotree’s security architecture based on a best practice framework (e.g. NIST) and the associated tools, review technical designs and serve as the subject matter expert to top management on DevSecOps. Monitor and analyze real-time threats, and coordinate incident response when something goes wrong.Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external resources on IT security related issues. Disaster recovery and business continuity: Establish our BC and DR programs to mitigate risk in the event of a disaster and/or significant business interruptions. Data loss and fraud prevention: Ensure data is classified by category of use/risk, secured, and used appropriately. Identity and access management: Design, build, manage, and monitor the identity and access process for the organization’s IT and client solutions to ensure that only authorized people have access to the appropriate systems and data, for their role, as needed.Security Incident Management and investigations: Establish a best practice security incident management framework, operating procedures, escalation path and reporting processes, and identify/engage associated third-party supporting providers, as needed, in the case of an incident, breach, or need for investigation for the company. Roles & Responsibilities: • Working with all business units to determine possible risks and risk management processes. • Business development planning and acquiring the correct technology. • Analyzing security threats in real-time and mitigating threats for Pivotree’s client and IT systems.

  • Ensuring that newly-acquired technology complies with the IT security regulations. • Planning, designing, and implementing an IT and network strategy for the company. • Managing the continuous maintenance of Pivotree’s client and IT systems to ensure optimum security levels are maintained. • Sourcing the necessary hardware and software to implement the strategy, and negotiating contracts.
  • Ensuring that no internal breaches or misuse of data take place. • Determining the cause of internal and external data breaches and instituting appropriate corrective action. • Presenting regular feedback reports on security and compliance to customers and to the board of directors. Key Skills and Competencies: • A bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
An MBA is preferable. • A minimum of seven years experience in risk management and information security. • An exceptional knowledge of information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST. • A CISSP or CISM certification, or like security certification.
  • Highly collaborative, persuasive, and engaging. • Experience in financial forecasting and budget management. • Outstanding negotiation skills for negotiating contracts and support services to be rendered. • Excellent understanding of current legislation and regulations relevant to our organization.
