Our vision is to be a leader in branded cannabis products that deliver on our consumer promise of quality, safety, and efficacy.Overview: Auxly Cannabis Group Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Cloud Systems Administrator to join our growing Technology team. Reporting to the Manager, Technology Infrastructure, the ideal candidate aspires to work in the growing cannabis field with an award-winning team! The successful applicant will be responsible for providing various levels of technology support for Auxly and its subsidiaries through both remote and in-person means of communication.What can you expect to do:

  • Provide frontline IT support, both face to face and remotely
  • Lead small projects with guidance of other technology team members.
  • Determining root cause of infrastructure outages, software, and integration failures, formulating CAPA plans and seeing through to resolution.
  • Monitor on premise and cloud based (AWS VPC, EC2, RDS) infrastructure, backup systems, perform regular server and application patching (outside of regular office hours).
  • Support Azure AD and Office 365: functional knowledge on administration, user setup, security
  • Research, evaluate, recommend, build, and deploy new technology solutions; Keep current with new trends and technologies.
  • Make recommendations for continued improvements and provide technological solutions for systems functionality and efficiency.
  • Knowledge on ticketing system and mandatory requirement of meeting deadlines and SLAs
  • Willingness for occasional travel within Canada.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
What we are looking for :
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required;
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience with System Administration and end user support. (Windows 10, MS Office; laptops and desktops)
  • High level of comfort with Windows, iOS and Android operating systems;
  • Intermediate knowledge of Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) and Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, GPO, permissions);
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server platform, virtualization, email security system, backup software;
  • Good understanding of switching & routing, WAN, LAN, VLAN, firewall and VPN;
  • Ability to diagnose incidents for appropriate escalation to other teams;
  • Hands on experience of cloud technologies (AWS) and scripting (PowerShell and otherwise)
  • Due to the dynamic and multi-tasking nature of this role, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required;
  • Ability to maintain composure and prioritize asks when dealing with challenging situations and tight deadlines;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment;
  • Relentless desire to learn new solutions, technologies, and drive technology enablement;
  • Strong working knowledge of O365 and Office Suites end-user support;
  • Strong moral compass when dealing with sensitive and confidential information;
