You will join a team of seasoned professionals who are looking to develop Mott MacDonald’s presence in Canada and beyond.We are looking for adaptable, self-motivated students who are excellent working both individually, as well as in a team to join us. We need you to be able to build and maintain strong relationships with both your colleagues and external clients through excellent verbal and written communication. A strong attention to detail is essential, as well as having a methodical approach to problem solving. We will expect you to draw on your university and employment experiences to manage your time effectively and to meet deadlines. This is a minimum 3-month co-op position based out of our Vancouver, BC office. This position will be for the fall co-op season starting in September.We offer a hybrid work arrangement with both in-office and at home working potential. Our work does at times require in person site meetings as well as face-to-face meetings while maintaining safety protocols. In 2020, Mott MacDonald became the first company in our sector to be certified Carbon Neutral, globally.To be considered for an internship position, you will currently be working towards a masters degree or a bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field.We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics:

  • Assist the cost control function for multiple infrastructure projects undertaken by Mott MacDonald
  • Develop and maintain monthly project progress evaluation reporting, discussing with Project Managers on status of projects, determining projects cost to complete, risks and contingency
  • Review, distribute and track invoices and progress payment for Mott Macdonald, its subconsultants and other third parties
  • Support Project Managers in administration of subconsultant and third-party contracts
  • Assist Project Managers with project reviews and QA/QC functions
  • Assistance with development of digital tools
  • Introductory opportunities to use crucial software for tunnel design
  • Get involved with our Early Career Professionals network and participate in lunch and learn opportunities
