At the Upstream Lab, our research is driven by the desire to promote health equity and address social determinants of health. The Upstream Lab aims to improve the health and well-being of patients by driving upstream action on social determinants and support the integration of upstream prevention approaches within primary healthcare in Canada and beyond. A core part of our work is conducting randomized controlled trials. The CanTreatCOVID study is an adaptive platform trial to evaluate the out-patient therapeutics for COVID.This is an exciting time to join our growing team!We are currently looking for a Community Engagement Specialist who will develop and build relationships with stakeholders to facilitate links with diverse communities (including those racialized, marginalized, experiencing disabilities etc.) and facilitate research outreach to these communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the area of health equity, applied research, and knowledge exchange.The community engagement specialist will report directly to the Upstream lab management team, and work alongside research staff and be a part of a team of other community engagement specialists.Duties and Responsibilities:
