This position is ideal for individuals who are just starting their career in Compliance.As a Compliance Associate, you will play a crucial role in the Compliance team. Your daily tasks will include reviewing customer documents, performing in-depth transaction and customer assessments, preparing regulatory reports, assisting the Commercial teams with compliance-related advice, and monitoring for any unusual activity as part of OFXs Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing program.What youll do:

  • Conduct compliance monitoring and review complex transactional or customer cases.
  • Prepare regulatory reporting and support regulatory engagement.
  • Work closely across the Risk and Compliance function and with Commercial teams, providing advice from a Compliance perspective.
  • Escalate concerns of potentially suspicious activity.
  • Work closely with the Assurance and Continuous Improvements team to enhance and documents our processes and procedures.
  • Contribute as a member of a global Compliance function.
  • Ad hoc tasks/projects at Manager’s request.
QualificationsWhat you bring:
  • 2+ years’ experience within audit or the financial services industry, preferably in a Compliance team
  • Tertiary qualifications are not essential but will be beneficial.
  • Immediately available has advantage
  • The ability to perform multiple tasks and work unsupervised.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to use a number of Compliance platforms and systems.
  • Have initiative and be a self-starter.
  • Diligence, honesty and reliability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate with peers.
