As we relentlessly strive to shape a better future by connecting individuals with essential resources such as water and energy, you #39;ll play a pivotal role in transforming the world around us.LOCATION:HK - TorontoSHIFT:Monday to Friday (Night shift 11PM to 7AM)SUMMARYOur Compression molding operator-C is the individual accountable for the manufacturing process of diverse rubber profiles from extruded material using the Compression press.PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES· Monitor and verify quality of profile.· Ensure when loading moulds the pre - form is placed in the cavity properly.· Ensure Quality Control inspection sheet for each mould is completed for each crate.· Ensure samples are available for the Q.C. Inspector.· Pack the extruded profile as instructed.· Ensure proper coding is correct and one shot per shift on each mould is inspected.· Document and record all required information · Perform other duties as required by supervision to meet production requirements.· Must be able to meet and maintain company quality and production requirements· Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to.COMPLEXITYamp; JUDGEMENT· Encounters quality issues, materialamp; machine faults which need to be reported to the Shift SupervisorCONTACTS· Interacts on a daily basis with Shift Supervisor, Lead Handamp; Q.A. Inspector· Occasional interaction with Healthamp; Safety Coordinator and Plant ManagerWORKING CONDITIONS·Incumbent spends almost 100% of his/her time in the plant environment requiring varying degrees of light to moderate physical labour.Lifting, pulling, bending, standing and walking cover the majority of the work. Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat.nIncumbent understands, respects and adheres to the workplace Healthamp; Safety rulesamp; regulations which are derived from the Occupational Healthamp; Safety Act.RequirementsKNOWLEDGEamp; SKILL REQUIREMENTS· Self-motivated and results driven· Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills· High school diploma is preferred· Effective communicator· Read write and speak basic English· Must be able to use or can be trained on various types of measuring tools related to our gasket manufacturing process.BenefitsHourly rate: $25.10 + shift premium of 7% of the employee’s regular rate for each hour worked on this shift
