Civil Contracts and Subcontracts Specialist - Civil Engineering or Construction*Location: Toronto, ONDuration: Permanent, Full TimeOn-Site in their Toronto officeWe have partnered with a firm in the GTA that is looking to hire a Civil Contract and subcontract Specialist. In this role, they will have oversight of contract management and subcontracts. They will be responsible for driving claims, compliance while collaborating with civil stakeholders. Shaping project success through contract management and negotiation expertise.Duties:We are looking for an Engineering Technologist with 1.5+ years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate should share their dedication to New Urbanist principles and possess a strong drive to contribute to building a sustainable Niagara.**They will develop and implement contract management strategies, and oversee the civil portion of construction contract. **Leading change management and contract close out plans. **Providing support for claim impact assessments, and offering technical expertise for major subcontract negotiations. Qualifications:-Possess a BA in Construction Management with some business or equivalent. -Experienced in the civil construction/engineering sector-Bring 10+ years of experience in contract management.-Software experience in Microsoft Office -Possess attention to detail.
