You will be successful in your role if you like partnering with the business, presenting new ideas and providing excellent customer service.Mosaic Transit Constructors (Mosaic) - a consortium comprised of Aecon, Dragados, and Dufferin – is partnering with Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario to design, build and maintain the transformative Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) system in the City of Toronto.Position: Construction Phase Services Coordinator/Change Management CoordinatorReports to: CPS Contracts AdministratorRole Location: Woodbridge, ONResponsibilities:

  • Ensuring that timeline deliverables are met.
  • Ensuring that the design teams and construction teams follow the processes set-out for proper CPS work authorization and documentation.
  • Receive and review the monthly CPS report and review for accuracy.
  • Receive and review monthly timesheet database and break down and disseminate the sheet for team review.
  • Break monthly billing into the appropriate groupings and update overall financial reports.
  • Maintain month-over-month progress, and provide reports to Technical Team management.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Team to manage design changes, detailing description of the change, reason and implications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Applied Science) / E.I.T – Civil Engineering
  • Technologist Diploma in Architecture/Civil Engineering Technologist
  • 1-2 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Strong MS Excel foundation, with the ability to understand basic database concepts.
  • Strong Document management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret Specifications, Architectural, Structural & MEP drawings.
Working Conditions/ Physical Effort:
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Prolonged sedentary positioning
  • Walking, lifting, equipment operation, etc.
  • Moderate physical activities
  • Ability to use stairs, ladders and climb over rough terrain
  • Primary work location is the Mosaic Transit Group Offices located in Woodbridge Ontario.
