Vigilant is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst, specializing in Oracle Recruiting Cloud (Oracle HCM/ORC) to join our multi-year, global scope, high profile, ERP project team. The Senior Business Analyst will primarily collaborate with the Global HCM Leader, the Global Subject Matter Expert, and Global Functional Consultant to share in the design, development, and successfully delivery of a market-leading, global scope Oracle Recruiting Cloud system (within the Oracle HCM) .A Day In The Life
  • Work hand in hand with the Business SME and Functional Consultant in a Business Analyst and advisory capacity to understand delivery requirements
  • Gather and analyze business needs and requirements using proven techniques
  • Derive and document all requirement regarding reporting, integration, data conversion, compliance and control required for a process
  • Assist the Business SME in the design of the process. Model and document business and user requirements in user stories, workflows, processes, and business rules using other industry standard techniques
  • Document the functional and, sometimes, non-functional requirements of the system
  • Interact with system architects and developers to ensure system is properly implemented and validate that user stories have been implemented properly
  • Validate unit test results executed by the partner
  • Develop documentation for the super-user the super-user community for post implementation
  • Manage issues and prioritization lists
  • Challenge the status quo to extend current thinking beyond business requirements and help identify opportunities for process optimization and automation (to deliver a market-leading, global scope Oracle Recruiting Cloud system, within the Oracle HCM

  • 7+ years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst (with preference for global scope projects)
  • Strong experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud (preferred)
  • Strong experience with Taleo Enterprise Edition or a closely related system will be considered
  • Strong experience in capturing functional and non-functional requirements, along with documenting business user requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment leveraging an agile approach
