Equal parts creative and strategic, a Content Editor curates creative, genre, special event, and show-based channels while monitoring performance and editing content flows to maximize success.ResponsibilitiesYou initiate the creation of Pluto O&O channels to curate channels based on genre or themeYou schedule Pluto channels, including O&O and single-series, together with third-party channelsYou create pop-up channels strategically based on cultural, seasonal or promotional purposesYou monitor success of the contentYou work with the Rights and Inventory teams to influence decisions on acquisitions and renewalsYou produce analysis, insights and recommendations around content performance of your channels and make edits to the content flow to maximize successSkills you needYou have 5+ years of working experience in media, either linear or streaming with a focus on scheduling contentYou have a passion and deep knowledge of current and throwback content, popular culture and media trendsAbility to generate and communicate creative programming ideasYou demonstrate experience in making scheduling decisions based on content data and insightsYou know the competitive landscape well and can provide insightHighly organized with keen attention to detail and can prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with at least one content management systemProficient in G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) softwareExcellent communication skills and highly meticulous with a positive and enthusiastic approachAbility to work autonomously and be resourceful with minimum guidanceParamount is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) including disability/vet.At Paramount, the spirit of inclusion feeds into everything that we do, on-screen and off.
