Keep reading to find out more about your next career move.Are you a Content Marketing Specialist passionate about engaging with the hearts and minds of audiences, driven by curiosity with big ideas Are you interested in executing projects with excellence from concept, delivery, to showcase, while developing engaging content and stories that connect at a business to human level If this sounds like you – then we have an opportunity waiting for you!What will your typical day look likeAs a Content Marketing Specialist within our Omnia AI practice, you will act as the brand ambassador for Deloitte Canada’s AI & Data Strategic Growth Platforms (SGP): Cortex AI and AI Institute. You will work with Cortex AI and AI Institute leaders to contribute to the development, lead generation, and execution of marketing strategies in support of the amplification of both SGPs. You will have the opportunity to utilize and further develop your strong writing and editing skills, while uncovering the most compelling stories to tell for highly targeted audiences.Specifically, you will:

  • Create marketing content to communicate the value proposition of CortexAI and the AI Institute within and outside Deloitte; including:
    • Continuous communication of activities, successes, and plans, through social media, emails and other channels to keep up the momentum in the market
    • Creation of artefacts such as mini video series and industry specific material for opportunity generation
    • Participation in meetings with customers to understand needs, communicate key messages and assist in preparation of creative asset brochures
  • Develop marketing content to support several campaigns (e.g., AI Institute Monthly Webcasts, Deloitte 360 event and launch of targeted Point of Views or POVs), including:
    • Internal (Deloitte Partners) and external communication (clients and ecosystems members) to socialize upcoming events following the editorial calendar
    • Email campaigns, strategies and plans to drive increased web traffic, and grow participant subscribers and engagement to the respective webcast series
    • Timely feedback and copy reviews to marketing or other relevant stakeholders
    • Content that is supportive and consistent with the Deloitte brand
  • Support the development of insight-driven briefs that will inspire client engagement and internal support cross the firm, such as:
    • Cortex AI/ AI Institute Monthly Newsletter: produce impactful, engaging, creative and smart content to showcase the initiatives underway, clients engaged and future support for program planning
    • Website Maintenance of the Cortex AI Microsite and the AI Institute Microsite: identify opportunities to continuously improve microsites, work closely with Marketing production coordinators to create an internal editorial calendar and upgrade the design and layout for these sites
    • Thought leadership creation: support the development and distribution of thought leadership pieces across industry sectors and lines of business, work with sponsors to complete environmental scans and coordinate with writers to develop and launch several pieces with an appropriate distribution/amplification strategy
  • Support various Program Launch (e.g., Women in AI Foundation, Influence Program, Gravity Challenge) activities, while:
    • Assisting in the development and implementation of digital marketing plans, across relevant channels (e.g., Yammer, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, campaigns, and tactical activities to support the objectives and goals of program
  • Liaise with and lead cross-functional team members (Marketing, Partners, Media Agencies, Production partners) to ensure that marketing content is on brand, approved by all stakeholders, and following workback schedules so that marketing initiatives projects are completed within required timelines
  • Ensure program KPI tracking is in place, including management of the production and delivery of reports as required by Coordination and Operations teams
  • Create, package and distribute thought leadership content in various formats across channels, using best practices, new strategies and actionable insights

  • 4 +years of experience in a content creator/specialist role (brand marketing experience; agency or client experience)
  • Exceptional senior stakeholder management skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills combined with a strong attention to detail
  • A passion for building from the ground-up, problem-solving, ideation and innovation
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
  • Strong organization skills: ability to prioritize work demands, and meet deadlines
  • Be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with competing deadlines and rapidly evolving client needs and conditions
  • Work with the Digital Marketing team to implement, monitor, and analyze, email journeys with accountability for meeting KPI’s
  • Commitment to quality, ethics and confidentiality
  • You are a strong writer and editor, with a knack for telling compelling stories
  • You’ve worked in marketing at a SaaS/tech company or an agency, and are more than familiar with the goals of content and demand gen
  • You approach content with a creative mindset, and have produced a wide range of content types in your career.
