Job Description

With your education and experience, you will be able to take on real-world challenges from day one.We are currently looking for an Editorial Intern who will help support in-app content strategy and contribute to the team across a variety of creative content initiatives. This role will liaise with the Content Programming, Partnerships, Marketing, and Music teams in our Toronto office.By applying to this position your application is automatically submitted to the following location: Toronto, Canada. This Internship Program is for 12 weeks duration beginning in May or June 2022.Responsibilities

  • Review in-app content, contribute to ideation, and help guide content strategy
  • Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional teams including Content Programming, Partnerships, Marketing, and Product to help improve users content experience
  • Contribute to a variety of editorial and operational projects supporting the content ecosystem
  • Facilitate day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of issues
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in a science, technology, or business related field.
  • Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2022.
  • Team player, ability to engage on all levels of the organization
  • 1-2 years of related professional or equivalent graduate school experience
  • Passion for TikTok and highly attuned to trends and culture
  • Copywriting background or experience is a plus
  • Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Strong interest in entertainment and digital content; understanding of the media landscape and major trends in the industry
  • Able to work in our Toronto office
