Job Description

Location:22 St. Clair Avenue East, Toronto, Ontario, M4T 2S5Choice Properties REIT is one of the largest real estate investment trusts in Canada. A commitment to continuous learning and development is a strong part of our culture.This opportunity is located at 22 St. Clair Avenue East, Toronto, ON.The Office Services Coordinator will have the responsibility of assisting with ensuring the seamless operation of head office. This role works closely with all Choice employees, as well as external vendors, and is expected to embody the Choice Properties values at all times.Accountabilities:

  • Track and order kitchen supplies and office supplies
  • Maintain organization and inventory of copy/print rooms, office services storage, kitchen (including but not limited to, coffee, tea, mugs, plates, cutlery, snacks)
  • Pay office invoices, track spending and set up vendors in Apollo as required
  • Coordinate and report building issues (heating, power etc.); act as liaison to Landlord
  • Provide support to Corporate Executive Assistants as required
  • Assist with coordination and execution of companywide events, including but not limited to, social committee events, corporate social responsibility events and biennial National Employee Conference
  • Address vendor inquires and correspondence; coordinate office repairs with outside vendors
  • Maintain Office Services SharePoint site, including assisting with documenting Office Services SOPs and Policies
  • Maintain accurate phone/address list for company and head office seating map
  • Manage Office Services Email and Calendar
  • Coordinate and distribute all required items for new hires, including but not limited to, security fobs, passes
  • Backup Receptionist responsibilities daily
  • Be an active member of the JHSC
  • Additional duties as required
Job Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer service role, corporate experience is an asset
  • Minimum grade 12 education
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills are mandatory
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to thrive in a busy environment; independently or in a team setting
  • Ability to liaise between internal departments and external vendors
  • Self-starter, highly motivated to achieve strong results
