From our incredible partnerships with iconic luxury brands, to our commitments to corporate social responsibility, you will be inspired every day.A job at Holt Renfrew offers a competitive total compensation, a generous employee discount, pension, and health & dental benefits, tuition assistance, and continuous learning and developmentThe Copywriter (Ecommerce) will work closely with the Copywriting Manager, Director of Creative Design, our Graphic Designers, Production team and Digital team, to provide creative support for the Marketing Department and communicate the essence of the brand internally and externally.Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:Create and manage print, web, and email marketing copy that aligns with the brand and overall strategic directive of the Marketing DepartmentCreate and manage editorial content and product cutlines for our seasonal magazines and beauty guidesEnsure marketing and editorial content is current, relevant to the Holt Renfrew customer, and positions Holt Renfrew as the go-to resource for style, fashion advice, and the latest on luxury designer brandsLiaise with the design team to ensure the creation of visual assets and layouts best support content objectivesWork closely with Marketing, Ecommerce, Social, Merchandising, Visual, PR, CRM and Production departments to deliver compelling, integrated messaging across all touch points: print, digital, direct, OOH, in-store promotional materialEnsure all content, both editorial and promotional, commits to the highest standards of the brand and ladders up to specific marketing objectivesProof-read and edit all marketing and editorial contentClosely monitor popular trends in luxury fashion that both directly and indirectly influence the fashion industry to help guide both marketing and editorial contentComplies with all Health & Safety policies and requirementsThe ideal candidate:Has a post graduate degree or diploma in Marketing/Communications or within a related disciplineA minimum of 5 years of experience in copywriting, preferably at a magazine or agencyStrong attention to detail with a good understanding of typography and designExcellent time management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsBilingual with a fluency in French would be an assetThe measures of success:Contribution to financial objectivesIndividual objectives linked to the achievement of department goalsFeedback from internal and external clients
