Job Description

Bloom is a full-service workplace design consultancy representing Cubert on their search for a Vendor Manager to join their team. As Talent Advisors, we will be the liaison between Cubert and yourself during this recruitment process. We do not use fancy tech to search through resumes at Bloom; every resume is reviewed by a human to ensure that we attain a consistent and equitable interview process. You will directly join the team at Cubert if you are selected as the successful candidate. We look forward to receiving your application!-As the Vendor Manager will be responsible for managing the supply chain functions at Cubert, this includes liaising with our existing 3PL (third party logistics) global warehouse vendors. In addition, you will be managing our overseas Philippines team of virtual fulfillment agents along with supporting data integration and visualization. You will be reporting up to me, Kitty (Sr. Director of Operations) and will oversee 3PL warehouse operations and support with Supply Chain data analysis and management as it relates to our business needs for B2B and B2C fulfillment.This opportunity will start as a 6 - 12 month short-term contract, with a possibility for extension and/or turn into a long-time regular position.Cubert is the name and innovation is our game. The key functions of the role
  • Being the main liaison between 3PL warehouse and Cubert’s internal supply chain team on managing on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, customized re-work coordination, streamlining bundling processes, etc.
  • Coordinating all operational activities required for timely and efficient distribution of products to customers
  • Developing key performance indicators to measure warehouse performance.
  • Preparing internal monthly operational review reports for Continuous Excellence Meetings.
  • Preparing and leading external Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) with 3PL warehouse to ensure targets are met. Use a data-driven approach for all decision-making, with high levels of autonomy.
  • Leading the inventory, sales, and ladder plan reporting. Analyze data to accomplish SC strategy and corresponding risk management.
  • Becoming the subject-matter expert in all warehousing needs as well as supporting other supply chain functions such as S&OP Process and Tools development.
  • Working closely with the internal teams to understand supply and inventory levels in order to maintain optimal inventory levels at managed 3PL warehouses.
  • Supporting fulfillment team lead with system integration and data management projects.
Please note that you will be overseeing a small team based in the Philippines, some meetings will be taken outside the core 9 am - 5 pm EST hours.There may be a small percentage of travel for this role for site visits to 3PLs (Mississauga, New York, and the Netherlands). Our team has not travelled during the last 2 years, however, this may change within the next year.What you bring to the table
  • You have mid-to-senior level of experience in warehouse management experience as a multi-site 3PL vendor manager.
  • You have a strong track record of delivering sustainable long-term business enhancements and efficiencies.
  • You are strong in communication skills, equally comfortable presenting across internal and external customers
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, and other advanced analytical tool such as SQL, Python, or Tableau
  • You have strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to crunch numbers, glean insights and present findings through all levels of the organization.
  • You are able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with solid project management skills.
It would be awesome if…
  • You are able to communicate at a working-proficiency level in Chinese. (Some of Cubert’s vendors are based overseas, however, please note that this language requirement is not mandatory)
  • You have experience with ERP implementation.
  • You have experience with any ERP system such as SAP or Oracle
  • You have experience in B2B and D2C fulfillment in high-tech products and services
  • You have a thorough understanding of supply chain management (e.g. freight transportation, parcel shipping, inventory management, order management, demand and supply planning, S&OP, facility planning, network optimization, inventory optimization, warehouse operations).
Though our HQ is Toronto, we are open to applicants across Canada. That means you are able to work remotely anywhere in Canada.Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 CADPerks & benefits:
