Please reach out to us to learn more!Cyber Security Project ManagerJob Function:Lead teams and manage complex projects, provide consulting, project management and facilitation services through all phases of system project life cycles. Develop project strategies, plans and support the development of project management strategies pertaining to assets, technology and systems and identify opportunities for cost savings.Summary Statement:THIS IS A NEWLY CREATED POSITION

• Lead and manage complex projects and be responsible for the integration of Transmission Stations and Lines, Distribution Stations and Lines, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Real Estate, Telecommunications, Computer Technologies, Information Systems, Application Systems, LANS and a variety of Computer Technologies.

• Coordinate work program needs for project and team charters while identifying the key customers and stakeholders within the framework of ISO 14001. Implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control mechanisms by utilizing problem solving techniques, audits and evaluations for ongoing project quality and continuous improvement by assessing and implementing improvement strategies project specific.

• Manage and perform the full life cycle of work programs resolving issues of performance, scheduling and control. Define objectives, perform tasks and produce deliverables critical to the success of the project and in the development of and implementation of contractual agreements. Identify needs for staffing resources, material resources and project management support, as required. Identify the project components ensuring the project team understand the deliverables from start to close out.

• Manage risks related to the identification, quantification, response development and response control throughout the course of a project by establishing a project management process for identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documentation. Develop and communicate risk response through acceptance, avoidance or mitigation.

• Provide project management and facilitation services through all phases of systems project life cycles, including needs assessment, support business case development, support approval, project manage implementation and transition to operational status.

• Develop project strategies, plans and provide consultation and support for the development project management strategies pertaining to assets, technology and systems. Identify opportunities for cost savings.

• Contribute to the development of policies, strategies, standards and integrated plans for Transmission Stations, and Lines, Distribution Stations and Lines, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Real Estate, Telecommunications, Computer Technologies, Information Systems, Application Systems, LANS and a variety of Computer Technologies.

• Provide consultation, planning and support services to Business Units and functions, in connection with Transmission Stations and Lines, Distribution Stations and Lines, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Real Estate, Telecommunications, Computer Technologies, Information Systems,Application Systems, LANS and a variety of Computer Technology projects.

• Be responsible for the work of staff assigned to participate in the project teams or assisting other work activities, by planning, organizing, assigning and checking their work and giving advise, guidance and direction as necessary, in working environment which is consistent with the philosophy and the goals of continuous quality improvement. Refer personal issues which have a significant impact on the project or employment of staff assigned to the project to theSupervisor for resolution.

• Perform other duties as required.

This role focuses on the Cyber Security space. The candidate should have strong project management skills along with a good understanding of Cyber Security. The Project Manager does not make security decisions but works with a Security Consultant and Architect, as well as applicable team resources to facilitate decisions and deliver projects. An understanding of the following areas: Security Information and Event Management, Role Base security, Privilege Access Management, Data Loss Protection and Multi Factor Authentication is required to deliver the work program.Selection Criteria :

• 5+ years of experience in the field of information security and IT, deployment experience in security technologies
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager overseeing a project team for the definition and implementation of cyber security projects in a complex environment
• Demonstrate ability to deliver projects; Professional Designation in Project Management (e.g. PMP) and Agile Methodologies (e.g. CSM). CISSP Certification
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource plan, status reporting and risk/ issue log
• Manage project risks, including development of contingency plans
• Ability to translate business and security requirements into applications solutions
• Ensure projects follow Hydro One’s Security Code of Practice, NERC requirements where applicable
• Demonstrate experience in facilitation and problem resolution
• Experienced in creating develop budgets to complete projects and maintaining accurate forecast; complete monthly variance reporting actuals to forecast
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable delivering presentations
• A strong team leader with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization
