Etobicoke, Toronto, ON, Canada ● Toronto, ON, Canada Req #377Wednesday, May 12, 2021Position OverviewProvide a welcoming environment to all incoming callers/visitors of the Design Centre. In addition, being the liaison between the Design Consultants, construction sites and homeowners by the way of customer and administrative services.Key Functions & DutiesResponsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Greet homeowners as they come to the Décor Studio, introduce them to the appropriate Design ConsultantAnswer incoming Décor Studio calls and or answer queries or redirect to the appropriate employeePerform administrative duties (filing system, create homeowners profile)Order maintain and distribute department office/beverage supplies in support of daily business activitiesAssist in calling homeowners as a reminder of upcoming appointments and follow up with homeowners on paperwork left by Décor Consultants for completionProvide excellent customer service in response to homeowner issues or concerns by researching or redirecting the concerns to the appropriate person for resolutionPrepare files of homeowners as each new deal is received and print necessary material for fileSchedule appointments in priority order using Appointment Status Report and or Production SchedulePrioritize time sensitive deadlines and effectively schedule appointments that require immediate attentionPrepare the Personalize Information Package for new homeownersPrepare purchaser files with appropriate presentation drawing of floor plans, pre-plan model option, model specific pricing, check lists, kitchen layout, bank pre-arrival etc.Process Pre-authorized daily payments on Moneris systemMaintain the inventory list of all products in the Décor Studio ShowroomEnsure at all times that the products in the Showroom are displayed appropriatelyMaintain and ensure that the Décor Studio Showroom is always clean and ready for the next business dayAssist homeowners with re-selects and preparing the necessary documentationsAssist the Manager when required with any correspondence and various tasks as neededPerform other duties as required to support the departmentContact homeowner when payments are NSF or declined and follow up for resolutionEducationPost-Secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredSkills and Qualifications3+ years of previous experience in new home construction and décor considered an asset.Customer focused with demonstrated ability to interface with internal/external customersExcellent written and verbal communication skills is a mustDetail oriented and able to multi-task with little supervisionExtremely resourceful, accurate, fact finding aptitudeAbility to handle difficult situations and provide resolutionAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook Express)Familiarity with Newstar REMSStrong problem-solving skillsOther detailsPay Type Salary
