The incumbent will work with various departments to understand business processes and work to build methodologies of reviewing and maintaining the data integrity of our systems.The Data Clerk will work with our IT department to develop custom report extracts directly from the SIS, in and with our Data Science team to build exception reporting on our BI tools. What will you do:
  • Audit existing database while identifying and correcting any gaps or inconsistencies
  • Create documents and reevaluate processes for improvement
  • Maintain current database
  • Adhere to data governance as per company protocol
  • Create and manage spreadsheets using your intermediate Excel skills
  • Liaise with internal departments
  • Understand the student lifecycle and create a schedule for database audits
  • Experience with student information systems (SIS) and how to ensure the systems aligns with our ongoing processes.
  • Ensure consistent high-quality registration services are compliant with regulatory policies and other relevant accreditation agencies.
  • Help drive enrolment and strategic objectives through the process of improvement metrics
  • Support different functional areas with analytics to help solve problems or improve performance
  • Work to improve data definitions and data integrity across the department
  • Prepare, explore, interact with, and drive insight from large data sets
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders at all levels
What you bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • +3 years of Data analysis experience
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail
  • Superior analytical and strategic thinking skills and operational planning ability to deliver on departmental and Campus objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technology to records, registration, and reports
  • Fast learner with ample curiosity
