Job DescriptionBuild enterprise curated data model from the raw data residing in enterprise data hub, for various data domains within Retail such as Product & pricing, Supply chain across various banners.Work with business team, stakeholders and data technical teams to understand data model requirementsData profiling / analysis to establish the data modelCreate conceptual data models for the various retail data domains, taking their relationships into accountCreate taxonomy/data dictionary (asset library)Create the DDLs & help deploy models to various environments Support downstream Mart/ semantic layer creation, Data science usersSkillsOverall experience of 10+ years within data (data engineering, data modeling, DWH, BI)3+ years of data modeling experience E-R Models, Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema/ Snowflake schemaExperienced using data modeling tools (e.g. ERWin, Visual paradigm, Microsoft visio)2+ years of Data modeling experience within retail industryExperience with Cloud data platforms (Azure – ADLS, Synapse, Snowflake)Experience in data wrangling and querying/analyzing raw data from source systems and data lakeStrong SQL and scripting languages such as PythonExperience in developing data models for analytical workloads and Enterprise BI/reportingContract length: 12 monthsExpected start date: 2022-01-07Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contractSalary: $75.00 per hourSchedule:
