To meet the demands of our rapidly growing base of satisfied customers, Handyman Connection of Toronto West is seeking an experienced Deck Installer / Repairer. This skilled individual would ideally have a minimum of 10 years of experience in troubleshooting and small to medium deck installation and repairs to support the growth of our business. ResponsibilitiesThe Deck Installer / Repairer performs and coordinates the installation, repair and service of decks in a residential and light commercial setting. You must have experience as a deck installer/repairer, and you must have a positive attitude.
  • Install, maintain and repair installed existing decks and related structures.
  • Work with and understand blueprints, schematics and job specifications as it applies to your craft and in accordance with safety and building codes.
  • Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects.
  • Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues and present a description of a work order to a customer.
Requirements
  • Must have a current Drivers License and submit to a background check
  • Must have tools, vehicle and good references
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Independent Contractors must carry liability insurance and WSIB clearance
  • Must carry a relevant license
  • Must pass the screening process
  • Must have a smartphone and access to the internet
