Account Solutions Consultant-Pre-SalesOur field sales professionals rely on proactive technical support during the sales process – and our expert Systems Engineering team always steps up to the mark. We lead the development and implementation of complex and specialized products, applications, services and solutions. From delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations, to developing detailed installations or system integration plans, we ensure customers get the innovative, relevant, interoperable solutions they need.Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as an Account Solutions Consultant on our Solutions Pre-Sales team remotely in Toronto.What you’ll achieveAs an Account Solutions Consultant, you will provide pre-sales technical support to our field sales teams, helping to define the overall Dell Technologies solution for our customers using the full range of company products and services. You will also drive the technical sales strategy for DELL products and services in assigned customer accounts.You will:

  • Work with Sales Team to develop & implement specific account penetration strategies, produce account specific product & service & sales plans for Enterprise Products.
  • Successfully build relationships with the account team, partners & customers in support of sales team objectives & engages & leverage corporate resources, abilities, budgets & personnel as appropriate. Leads technical sales calls
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address & dispel customer objections to DELL solutions, & train the account team
  • Anticipate technology and/or market trends & provide guidance on their application to external customers & feedback of business requirements back into DELLs engineering & marketing organizations
  • Configure & document DELL software, hardware & service solutions to meet customer & sales objectives.

  • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
  • Competitive understanding of the different storage vendors offerings from PURE, IBM, Oracle, NetApp, etc.
  • Excellent presentation skills in front of all levels of the IT Organization
  • Working knowledge of Storage Analysis and Monitoring Tools
  • Detailed product knowledge. Previous hands-on experience in the data center environment, with expertise spanning storage, BRS, virtualization, convergence, Cloud and/or Big Data
