This is a fully remote role based in Canada.About the Tea BusinessUnilever is proud of its Tea business, the biggest in the world, with world class purpose driven brands such as Lipton, PG tips and Pukka. Recently, Unilever decided to separate the Tea business to ensure it can best achieve its potential. Unilever is currently reviewing several options for separation, including a demerger, an initial public offering, a disposal or through partnership models. The Tea businesses in India and Indonesia, and the partnership interests in the ready-to-drink Tea joint ventures will be retained.The balance of the Tea brands and geographies and all Tea estates, with generated revenues of €2 billion in 2019, is growing and profitable with proven potential both pre- and post-COVID-19. Purposeful thinking will be the core anchor of the business, its brands as well as its culture, and enables simple and agile decision making, supports an entrepreneurial mindset and is driven by passion for our consumers.As we move through this journey towards separation, we are seeking employees with a passion for exciting entrepreneurial experiences, who want to pursue unique career opportunities and have a desire to be an integral part in building the bright future of this plant-based company.Your Role:This role is responsible for the 12 month rolling volume forecast whilst also supporting Logistics operation in Canada. Through collaborative "bottom-up" planning with Customer Development, Brand, and Customer Supply Chain, the objective is to continuously improve forecast accuracy to deliver high customer service levels and simultaneously support the reduction of finished goods inventory. Also responsible for monitoring and improving monthly Services from 3PL Logistics Service provider.Your Key Tasks:

  • Analyze and generate weekly, monthly and long range forecast based on baseline trending, marketing and sales initiative and market trends. Ensures that forecast accuracy and bias is within target.
  • Leads and participates in relevant meetings of the S&OP cycle with marketing and CD to identify sales opportunities and bridge the gaps
  • Co-lead in the Demand and Supply meeting to manage changes in demand, optimize use of company resources and ensure best in class customer service
  • Drives end to end simplification through SKU rationalization.
  • Ensures integrity of the SAP masterdata file through timely data maintenance of finished goods item codes (active, inactive, NPIs).
  • Computes long range forecast for capacity planning purposes
  • Leads continues improvement of FA/FB which creates positive impact to cost, inventory and casefill
  • Leads continuous improvements of Logistical services bought in.
  • Re-pack and display planning; creation of display and special pack
Stakeholder Management and key interfaces:
  • This role will interact with CD, Finance and Marketing counterparts as part of the S&OP process as well as the NA supply planning team for volume reconciliation and issue resolution
  • This role will report to the Demand Planning Manager for North America
Skills and Experience
  • At least 1 year experience in Demand Planning
  • Familiar with SAP functionalities
  • Must have a full understanding of the Demand Planning tools and KPIs
  • Able to coordinate with cross functional departments
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good Analytical skills
  • Keen to Details
  • Comfortable handling large amounts of numeric data
  • Service oriented attitude
  • Able to adapt to changes quickly
