Job Description

At Lumeto, we believe that scalable immersive training solutions will empower and revolutionize the way in which we re-skill and up-skill our workforce. Our spatial training solutions can reduce or eliminate travel and simulation costs, improve trainee retention, reduce new employee ramp up times, and dramatically improve on-the-job efficiency.The right people take on challenges that come with building new technologies head on! We need people to help us drive a new wave of effective training and team collaboration, working with global enterprises across VR, AR and MR platforms to build, integrate and deploy scalable learning solutions. We’re entering our next stage of growth and are looking for energetic, solution oriented and curious minds to join us as we build the foundation of our company.The RoleOur QA team tests our VR training applications for function and stability. They work with developers, product owners and other stakeholders to ensure we deliver a quality customer experience. We are a small, flexible team supporting a product with a rapidly expanding feature set, so every day will bring a new experience.This role can accommodate remote work, but would be required to work during office hours of the Eastern time zone.Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our offshore QA team to test our applications for function and stability.
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to understand the intent and function of our applications.
  • Thoroughly test our software. Identify, record, document and track bugs.
  • Collaborate with product owners to assess priorities for fixing flaws.
  • Communicate clearly and transparently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Take ownership and solve problems.
  • Create joy in your teammates and our customers.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience with Quality Assurance
  • Previous experience in video games or related industry
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Solid knowledge of automation tests scripting
Useful Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
  • Previous experience with Unreal Engine would be a plus
  • Previous experience with VR or AR would be a plus
  • Previous experience with diverse, cross-functional teams would be a plus
