OLG is now expanding our horizons even further, with a new strategic direction, to become a world class gaming entertainment leader with a globally admired digital platform.We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Digital Performance Testing Specialist to prepare and orchestrate pre-production environment and testing activities to meet Business needs. The role designs test plans, application releases, scheduling releases and manages interference between labs, projects and maintenance of performance test scripts. The role provides technical guidance and expert advice to Product Owners and Labs team, to ensure the readiness and reliability of all application software, middleware, configuration, deployment strategies, functional and non-functional validations of the pre-production environment.YOUR ROLE IN THE GAMEReporting to the Sr Manager Digital Solution Testing, you will be empowered to:

  • Develop Performance Test Plans and Performance test Scenarios using requirements and design documents while specifying Test Approach, Strategy, Scope, Architecture, Environment, Roles and Responsibilities
  • Analyze and verify performance testing requirements including performance test strategies developed by service providers for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards and provide recommendations for changes or approval to Sr Manager Digital Solution Testing to ensure quality testing
  • Coordinate with lead project members such as Project Managers, business analysts, developers & infrastructure teams to ensure that the performance and capacity of applications and infrastructure meet the level of quality demanded by the business.
  • Develop test scripts, design test scenarios, conduct test execution and monitoring, analyze results and report performance bottlenecks using Gatling, JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
  • Implement and monitor performance metrics that show the evolution of key performance targets.
  • Track and resolve issues and defects; coordinate troubleshooting sessions and provide technical expertise to resolve problems
  • Perform daily activities/audits to ensure availability and stability of the pre-production environments.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Solution Delivery, and Infrastructure Operations to identify and implement automation tools and processes within the Digital division, to support agility and increased velocity of pre-production environments.
  • Support the various solution configuration activities including the implementation/configuration of new solutions, changes to existing systems, technical fixes during subsequent testing and validation of integrations.
  • Develop, configure, and implement the project software package (i.e., ordering, latest releases, distribution files, etc.)
  • Deliver system performance models which highlight technical risk, workload models and mitigating actions to meet non-functional requirement (NFRs)
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAYWork Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ progressive experience in medium to large Technology environments. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in performance testing & quality control. Providing Subject Matter Expertise and/or technical guidance. Experience in any Monitoring tools – Dynatrace etc. Experience in the development and implementation of repeatable and iterative performance testing process in an Agile environment. Experience with defect/issue management tool (like HP ALM, Test Rail etc.). Experience with performance testing and troubleshooting applications in cloud environments. Experience with performance tuning/issue resolution & memory leak analysis. Ability to reverse engineer code, author sequence diagrams, communicate areas of the code to instrument and optimize to support NFRs. Experience in developing Performance Test Plans and Performance test Scenarios using requirements and design documents while specifying Test Approach, Strategy, Scope, Architecture, Environment, Roles and Responsibilities. Experience with defect/issue management tool (like HP Quality Center).Education: Post-secondary degree, preferably in information systems and/or business administration discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Primary Knowledge In: Application Testing.
