This is a 12-month contract opportunity and will report to the Manager, Digital Marketing. The selected candidate will be responsible for ongoing enhancements of our industry-leading web properties (Toyota.ca & Lexus.ca). This individual will partner with colleagues and agencies to improve our product positioning and messaging with a customer-first approach. Success in this role will rely on excellent project management skills along with an ability to prioritize and deliver key tasks that drive online engagement with our brands, products and services.What We’ll Bring:

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Analyze consumer activity data to identify future enhancements for digital properties
  • Build proposals to enhance digital properties based on data and improve the customer experience
  • Work within digital channel release schedule across multiple user groups including interfacing between the web agency and our IS team
  • Ensure that front-end requirement documentation and artifacts are accurately prepared, maintained, and cataloged
  • Day-to-day delivery responsibility of web projects
  • Deliver initiatives on time, with quality and within budget and scope
  • Be an active participant in daily SCRUM meetings
  • Act as a point of contact for technical/functional issues and liaison to agency development team.
  • Work with web agency to identify opportunities to reuse common components and reduce over-customization
  • Ensure quality and completeness of detailed functional and technical specifications and solution designs
  • Ensure technical/functional documentation and artifacts are accurately prepared, maintained, and cataloged
  • Act as a point of contact for internal staff to escalate issues and high priority requests
  • Initiates and implements appropriate kaizen (continuous improvement) efforts which result in work efficiencies relating to cost reduction or avoidance, improved time and process efficiencies
  • Standardizes and shares successes across the team or organization through yokoten (shares best practices); continues to improve through kaizen and shares again
  • Other duties as requested or required
What You’ll Bring:
  • College or university degree in related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of current and emerging digital platforms
  • Strong project leadership skills with demonstrated experience
  • Strong organizational, leadership, negotiating, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work across the organization to build alignment and consensus on key initiatives
  • Detail oriented and able to multitask efficiently
  • Self-motivator with ability to start and complete projects with limited to no supervision
  • Customer-first orientation
  • Proven ability to initiate & improve work processes to increase efficiencies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Bilingual (French/English) an asset
