Job Description

We are working with a high-growth tech company that is leading in their space! Their business management software is helping their customers maximize profits.They are profitable and growing, with over 3000 business owners on their platform.

  • Report into CRO
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute innovative, data-driven marketing strategies to meet business objectives, focusing on brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.
  • Oversee Brand Development: Manage the development and maintenance of the brand, ensuring messaging, positioning, and visual identity remain consistent across all channels.
  • Demand Generation Efforts: Drive lead generation through various marketing channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, event promotion, CRM, and social media.
  • Product marketing: Work with product management to develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches, covering positioning, messaging, and promotional activities.
  • Develop Content Marketing Strategies: Create and manage content marketing strategies, including producing engaging content such as blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, videos, and case studies.
  • Establish KPIs and Report Performance: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness and provide regular performance reports on marketing initiatives to senior leadership.
  • Budget Management: Efficiently manage the marketing budget, allocating resources to maximize return on investment (ROI) and drive growth.
  • Market Research: Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product management, and customer success teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Set and Achieve OKRs: Responsible for setting and achieving individual and departmental Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Assist in hiring by directing, training, supervising, evaluating, and coaching direct reports.
Requirements
  • Seasoned marketing leader with a track record of success in driving growth within high-growth technology companies.
  • Experience working in high-velocity sales and marketing environment.
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment, ideally SMB or vertical experience.
  • Director-level experience.
  • A leadership philosophy focused on people and culture development.
  • Exceptional strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution, capable of translating visionary concepts into actionable plans that deliver measurable results.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proven ability to build and nurture relationships at all levels of the organization, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Experience working closely and aligning revenue goals with sales.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for driving innovation and challenging the status quo.
  • Familiarity with the landscaping industry or analogous markets is advantageous, showcasing a nuanced understanding of industry-specific trends, challenges, and opportunities..
  • Located in Toronto
