Company descriptionDog Logic Toronto is a small independent dog walking company with a great reputation for individualized small group walks and dog training in Toronto. We are very much a mom and pop business, and treat our coworkers like family. We are looking for individuals who love dogs, are compassionate and kind, are reliable and on time, and have a willingness to learn.Job descriptionThis is an independent contractor position. We are looking for someone who wants long-term, part-time work so please no temps or students. Our ideal candidate is someone who will put in the time to get to know their daily dogs!PLEASE submit a cover letter via email with the subject line JOB APPLICATION if interested. We are looking for candidates who are okay with starting out slow, working for a couple of hours from Monday to Friday, with the opportunity of growing their pack over time. This opportunity is a great side hustle for those with flexible schedules, and pay ranges from $21 to $60 per hour.No commercial dog walking experience required however experience walking dogs, volunteering at shelters, or owning and taking care of a dog is an absolute must! Hours needed are Monday-Friday 11-3. Walking areas are Rosedale,Yorkville and SummerhillRequirements:

  • Previous experience professionally working and/or volunteering with dogs (strongly preferred)
  • You must be comfortable with walking dogs of all breeds and sizes.
  • You must possess a client-focused attitude and a desire to comply with our clients wishes/preferences regarding their dogs needs and care. We want people who care about animals AND people.
  • Have a minimum of 2 personal and/or professional references outside of family members
  • Be bondable (no criminal convictions)
  • You must be incredibly reliable. You must enjoy (or be able to work through) being outside in the rain, snow, cold and miserable weather. The dogs never take a day off from needing a walk, so we dont either. You will need to be prepared and make sure you have the proper outdoor clothing, etc.
  • You must be able to work with little supervision
  • You must have a reliable cell phone with data, as we use a mobile app for all of our services.
  • Vehicle is an asset
