Job Description

The engineering department at PXO Clara is looking for a skilled Draftsperson to join our innovative team. As a leader in technology for the VFX and Virtual Production industry, our global, multi-studio company is eager to find someone who can help shape the future of visual storytelling. As a Draftsperson, you play a crucial role in driving our department #39;s global expansion and achieving our goals in Virtual Production, VFX, and TV production. You #39;ll be at the forefront of designing innovative LED sound stage build-outs and configurations for LED walls, contributing to the creation of award-winning films and episodic series. Your expertise will help us push the boundaries of storytelling and visual excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare detailed drawings of LED Wall designs and sound stage plans
  • Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures
  • Review and verify the accuracy of drawings and documents
  • Coordinate with architects and engineers
  • Assist in designs to fit film and tv production needs
  • Develop and maintain design standards
Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Attention to detail, Detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently, with good communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer aided design software
  • Excellent spatial visualization
  • Draw detailed plans and diagrams for LED Walls, buildings and structures based on specifications
  • Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
  • Check and revise drawings to ensure accuracy
  • Work with design and drafting software to create virtual models
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings for building projects
  • Use manual drafting techniques and drawing instruments to accurately produce drawings
  • Follow established guidelines and regulations when preparing drawings
