Position Summary:The eCommerce Merchandising Student will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the team. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of scheduled reporting, competitive analysis, post-mortem analysis, and other ad hoc requests supporting the Fixing and Living divisions on CT.ca.We are looking for someone who can quickly learn the day-to-day aspects of the role while bringing a fresh perspective and new ideas to the table. This fast-paced environment requires a highly organized and motivated individual with the passion to learn. You must have a customer-focused mindset to help you make data driven decisions.What you’ll do:
  • Ensure website is updated daily, weekly, monthly to reflect the key products/events to maximize sales, margin and store traffic
  • Perform website QA on a range of initiatives including new product introduction, key product information and new website pages
  • Through the use of analytics and customer feedback, understand how the customer shops and work with team to offer the best customer experience
  • Understand customer search and browse behaviour and make recommendations to improve searchability and on site experience
  • Understand top search terms and highest visited areas of the category and implement tactics to provide proper customer experience
  • Provide regular reporting of financial and digital metrics from a variety of sources including Google Analytics
  • Assist with category deep dives as needed

What you’ve done:
  • Experience working with Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experience organizing, analyzing and presenting data
  • Highly organized with strong communication skills
  • Previous eCommerce, Site Merchandising experience preferred
  • Nice to have: experience working with Google Analytics
