Job Description

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in modern grammar and punctuation, possess strong communication and editing skills. A strong candidate will have a English Mayor and / Or Jounalist background. The applicants will be given a test on their skills and their capacity within.Responsibilities:

  • Edit the work of others, taking careful account of their intended meaning without changing the meaning or omitting ideas or information.
  • Transcribe conversations, audiotapes, or videotapes into written form, using appropriate formatting and punctuation conventions.
  • Synopsize recorded texts to distill the main ideas in them and eliminate redundant material.
  • Arrange material in a logical, readable order by outlining, preparing a rough draft, or following a style manual.
  • Select or design graphics or visual elements such as artwork, graphics, or typefaces to be used to enhance the presentation of materials being edited.
  • Prepare drafts of written materials for further editing or for publication.
