Job Description

Job Title: Embroidery Production SupervisorLocation: North York, ON Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 3-5 Years Safety Requirement: Must wear safety shoes Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embroidery Production Supervisor with strong technical knowledge of embroidery machinery and software. This position requires a detail-oriented leader who can effectively manage production schedules, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of embroidery machines, tools, and software to ensure optimal performance, provide technical guidance, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW, with the ability to export files from Corel.
  • Experienced in embroidery digitizing software, preferably Tajima or Ioline.
    • Capable of creating embroidery files, converting CDR files to EXP format.
    • Proficient in using digitizing software to add stops, group design elements (in sets of 3 or 6), and save final designs in DST format.
Schedule Review and Time Management
  • Ability to review production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Skilled in adapting to a fast-paced, changing work environment with shifting production needs.
Communication Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, management, and other departments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of appliqués and resolve production issues promptly.
Attention to Detail and Quality Control
  • Maintain high quality standards by detecting design errors early and ensuring accuracy in finished products.
Problem-Solving Abilities
  • Quickly identify and resolve machine, design, or material issues to maintain production flow.
  • Proactively report potential problems such as equipment malfunctions or material shortages.
Leadership and Team Management
  • Provide strong leadership to the production team, ensuring efficient operations and consistent output.
  • Promote a positive team environment to keep employees motivated and engaged.
Multitasking and Flexibility
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks, especially under pressure during peak production times.
Qualifications
  • 35 years of relevant experience in embroidery production or a similar environment.
  • Proficiency with digitizing and design software.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Additional Requirements
  • Must wear safety shoes on the production floor at all times.
