To help power over 1.7 million merchants in more than 175 different countries, Shopify is always growing and finding new ways to create more value for commerce businesses around the world.We are looking to hire an intern for a 6 month contract position; this is a remote position and the successful candidate will work from home.Job DescriptionAs a member of the Employer Brand Marketing team, the Employer Brand Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting a wide range of marketing and talent attraction activities. You will work closely with Marketing and Growth Managers to help tell the world about Shopify’s unique employer value proposition and raise the global brand awareness of Shopify as a top employer.The Employer Brand Marketing team takes an integrated marketing approach, which means you’ll have the opportunity to grow your experience in all aspects of marketing, including social media, paid advertising, experiential, public relations, market research, and more. The ability to work in a fast paced environment, think critically, problem solve, prioritize, project manage, and communicate with internal and external teams will be paramount to success in this role.Responsibilities:Help ideate, build, and launch creative full-funnel marketing campaigns across multiple channels in our priority talent markets.Assist with market research and the sharing of insights with stakeholders.Support the creation of video, photo, and other digital content to help tell the story of Shopify’s unique employer brand.Partner with recruiting and discipline marketing teams to organize events, sponsorships, and other experiential activations.Collaborate with public relations on media opportunities, including employer award submissions.Provide operational support with project management, data tracking/reporting, budget management, etc.QualificationsWe want to learn about your passion for marketing/brand and initiative beyond school requirements.
