We are committed to embedding these principles into all the work we do, reducing barriers so that students from all backgrounds and lived experiences can feel a sense of belonging in the communities they find here.To align with our strategic priorities, we encourage individuals from Black, Indigenous, and racialized communities to apply.Your opportunity:Reporting to the Lead Coordinator, Recruitment and Engagement, the Experiential Learning Coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining a process for referring employer and community organization contacts to experiential learning programming across the University of Toronto; maintaining up-to-date employer and community partner communications and promotional content for navigating across a spectrum of experiential learning opportunities (e.g. CLNx internal and external pages; Student Life website; Experiential Learning Hub, etc.); tracking and reporting employer and community partner communications and engagements withinexperiential learning programming in the CLNx Contacts Database; coordinating the Career-Minded Professionals Network (CMPN) and supporting the training and programming for career/co-op/Experiential Learning staff; coordinating the University of Toronto’s largest experiential learning program — the Work-Study program — with tri-campus and Enrollment Services (including developing plans, operational policies, procedures, communications, and assessments).Your responsibilities will include:Building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and partners of strategic importanceIdentifying, fostering and maintaining relationships with potential and existing employersPromoting programming, student needs and interests to employers and industry contactsResearching and analyzing potential employers and recommending student placement opportunitiesAnalyzing data to determine trends and recommend target marketsImplementing plans that support the development of work-integrated learning opportunities for studentsOverseeing day-to-day operational needs and service delivery requirements of programsEvaluating and recommending appropriatework-integrated learning opportunities for studentsEssential Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum five years experience in building partnerships and developing work integrated learning opportunities.Experience in market research and analysis, identification of target markets as well as direct sales and relationship development.Proficiency in developing assessment tools, analyzing and interpreting data.Interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.Proven leadership and problem-solving skills are required.Strong assessment (quantitative and qualitative) skills, including program evaluation and performance assessments.Proven ability to create and manage partnerships internal to the University and external within the community.Strong written and public speaking skills necessary.Proven ability to be creative and innovative in the development and maintenance of programs.To be successful in this role you will be:ApproachableCommunicatorMulti-taskerProblem solverTactfulTeam playerClosing Date: 05/28/2021, 11:59PM ETEmployee Group: USWAppointment Type: Budget - ContinuingSchedule: Full-Time Regular daytime schedule.
